COMIC WORKSHOP AT GOETHE INSTITUTE ON APRIL 23

If you like comics and you are interested in illustration of this kind, then Goethe Institute’s workshop is where you will want to be on April 23 at 7 PM.
The workshop will be held at the Goethe Institute at Knez Mihailova 50.
Since UNESCO has named April 23 the World Book Day, the Goethe Institute has decided to celebrate it by organizing a comics workshop. There are available places for 10 Faculty of Contemporary Arts students; you can join by emailing your application at bibliothek-belgrad@goethe.de not later than Wednesday, April 10.
The application should include first and last name, year of birth, name of faculty and mobile phone number.
WORKSHOP WILL BE RUN BY ALEKSA GAJIĆ, ONE OF EUROPE’S PREEMINENT COMICS DRAWERS
Goethe Institute decided to provide students with an opportunity to attend a workshop dedicated to comics and illustration for this realm of publishing. The workshop will be held by the famous Serbian comics author and one of the most esteemed European drawers, Aleksa Gajić. He will discuss the book illustration process, as well as his work on illustrating E. T. A. Hoffman’s story “The Entail” (“Das Majorat”). He will present sketches, work-in-progress and final versions of these works.
