Artworks created in different intersecting media
“The concept of the exhibition Land: Situations and Documents arises from the developmental tendencies of contemporary creativity and the perception of their similarities, rather than differences. Artworks incorporated into the conceptual framework of the exhibition, and realized in different media and through their intersection, demonstrate how different situations of social nature, as well as creative processes that lead to the art of indexing which is primarily experienced through documents of actions performed arise from working the land”, explains Vojislav Klačar in the exhibition catalog.
Among the 30 artists of different generations featured in the exhibition are Hugo Pasarello Luna, an Argentinian photographer who lives and works in Paris, and Tam Thi Pham, a video artist from Vietnam.
You can visit the exhibition in Opovo until May 17.
