The Faculty of Contemporary Arts continues to organize creative weekend-workshops this year as well! All high school students who love art, and want to participate in the workshops that will be held on May 14 and 15 need to sign up and secure their place.
FSU creative art workshops offer workshops in graphic design, game art, acting, interior design, painting, fashion/costume design, multimedia production, journalism and musical communication. Participation in the workshops is free of charge, but the number of spots is limited to 15 participants per workshop, which is why you need to sign up in a timely manner.
All participants will receive a certificate of participation in the workshops, and other valuable prizes.

CHOOSE ONE OF NINE ART FORMS AND LET US SHOWCASE OUR CREATIVITY TOGETHER
Each of you has a favorite artistic direction and expression. You need to choose an art form that interests you the most, and decide on whether you want to participate in a graphic design, game art, or interior and fashion/costume design workshop, or if you prefer acting, painting, music, journalism or production. One student can only apply for one workshop, so choose wisely.
GRAPHIC DESIGN: RECYCLING AS A FOCAL POINT
Modern graphic designers are proper multimedia artists nowadays, and recycling is one of the most important current topics. You will be addressing visual recycling, i.e. getting new products using existing material, and making them your own. The topics include collage, illustration and photography.
ACTING: HOW TO BECOME A MULTIMEDIA ACTOR
Contemporary actors do not just have to pay attention to their performance and the stage, but they also have to be trained for new media and media content. They must possess a firm grasp and understanding of voice training, image, stage play and music. Learn how to build a character on stage. A good voice and singing skills are an integral part of stage performance. Learn how to make the audience fall in love with you.
INTERIOR DESIGN: LEARN THE FUNDAMENTALS OF INTERIOR DESIGN
Participants in this workshop will face a great challenge. Imagine, make a collage and draw your dream space. Learn the fundamentals of interior design by learning the basic principles and elements of design, as well as their potential in terms of spatial interventions. Participants will engage in practical work by creating a conceptual model, drawing or collage.
PAINTING: MODEL-BASED DRAWING AND DRAWING
Showcase the full extent of your talent in model-based painting and drawing in the exciting studios of the Faculty of Contemporary Arts. You will have a first-hand opportunity to experience what it looks like to be a student of painting at FCA.
FASHION DESIGN: DESIGN ORIGINAL HEADWEAR
This year’s topic is very inspiring. If you love hats, caps, headbands, tiaras, hairbands, hairclips, hairpins, etc., you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your creativity.
MULTIMEDIA PRODUCTION: DISCOVER WHAT SUCCESSFUL BRANDING MEANS
How to turn your product into a brand, what knowledge and skills you need to possess, what is the marketing phenomenon of branding? We will start with products and services, and finish with personal branding in creative industries and show business.
JOURNALISM: LEARN TO RECOGNIZE FAKE NEWS AND WHAT CHARACTERISTICS A TV PERSONALITY OF THE DIGITAL AGE SHOULD POSSESS
We are flooded by fake news on a daily basis, and many have given up trying to find the truth. In addition to learning to recognize fake news, this year’s workshops will teach you what characteristics a TV personality of the digital age should possess.
MUSICAL COMMUNICATION: MUSICAL PERFORMANCE
Musical performance is a contemporary form of artistic expression. Depending on whether it is performed live on stage, or as part of media production, projects of this type are a challenge in which the unique musical expression is used to establish a communication channel with the general audience.
GAME ART: CREATING CHARACTERS AND WORLDS IN VIDEO GAMES
In addition to encouraging your creativity and helping you learn through play, this workshop will show you how much discipline and commitment is needed to create video game characters and worlds.
BONUS FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS: VR FOR EVERYONE – TRANSFER YOUR TALENT AND CREATIVITY TO THE VIRTUAL WORLD
The weekend of creative vibrations at FCA will end with a bonus workshop for all participants. The joint lecture on the use of VR in drawing will close the event. Everyone will get the opportunity to try out the HTC Vive VR device, which represents the latest technological innovation in the field of painting and design. Create works of art in virtual reality, then move them into your own reality.
