MARINA BUKVIČKI AND NATALIJA ŽUGIĆ PARTICIPATED IN THE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF LIVING STATUES – STATUE FEST

Dr. Marina Bukvički, professor of Stage Movement at the Faculty of Contemporary Arts, along with Natalija Žugić, a master’s student and also her associate on this subject, participated with the “Mimart” Theater at the International Festival of Living Statues (Statue Fest).
The festival took place from April 29 to May 1 and was held at three locations: in Banja Koviljača, Loznica, and Tršić, with artists from Romania, the Netherlands, Israel, Macedonia, and Serbia participating.
The festival began with a parade from the space of the Tourist Organization of the city of Loznica, the organizer of the festival, all the way to the stage in front of the Cultural Center “Vuk Karadžić”, where the statues were presented.
In the featured photograph, Natalija Žugić portrays the Marble Statue (a girl in white with a bridal veil), while Marina Bukvički portrays the Violet Lady.
