On Monday, January 15, at the Faculty of Contemporary Arts, in Rehearsal Room 203, third-year acting students in the class of Irfan Mensur and assistant Srđan Ivanović performed the play “Dve stolice, krevet i gluma”.

EXPLORING AND EXPRESSING HUMAN EXPERIENCES THROUGH LANGUAGE, RHYTHM, AND SOUND

This exam performance consists of two parts: the first part involves performing scenes through poetry, while the second part includes scenes from dramatic literature.

Performing scenes through poetry can be an extremely emotional, artistic, and suggestive experience. This involves using poetry as a means of conveying and expressing various scenes and images or as a way to bring moments, emotions, and characters to life in an artistic manner. This form of art provides the freedom to explore and express the complexity of human experiences through language, rhythm, and sound, allowing readers or listeners to better understand the scenes being performed and emotionally engage in them.

The second part of the exam will focus on performing scenes from dramatic literature. This is a special form of artistic expression based on the interpretation and portrayal of scenes from theatrical or dramatic works. It involves dramatizing texts and characterizing characters to create a deeper emotional connection with the audience.

Performing scenes from dramatic literature can be a deeply emotional experience for both the performers and the audience. It allows stories and characters to come alive on stage and conveys deep emotional experiences to the spectators, making theater one of the most powerful forms of art.
