EXAMINATION PERFORMANCE “LIK, ODNOS, PARTNER” WAS HELD

On Tuesday, June 6, at the Yugoslav Drama Theatre, on the “Studio” Stage, second-year acting students, alongside assistant Janko Cekić performed the play “LIK, ODNOS, PARTNER“.

After acquiring knowledge in the first year of acting studies, which included action, objective, motive, conflict, circumstances, and stream of consciousness, they proceeded to work on character. In the first semester of the second year, students worked on characters through monologues, learning about both internal (thoughts, feelings, personality) and external (speech, movement, gait, characteristic gestures, etc.) aspects of a character.

Now, they’ve moved on to applying all of this through their interaction with another character, their partner, working on conflict and relationship, listening to their partner, action and reaction, rhythm, and pace of both the scene and their character. Along this journey, students worked on scenes from great playwrights such as Jovan Sterija Popović, Branislav Nušić, Stevan Sremac, Dušan Kovačević, Ljubomir Simović, Siniša Kovačević, Nebojša Romčević, Martin McDonagh, Ludmila Razumovskaya, and many others.

By bringing to life various plots and characters, students showed their knowledge, talent, and skill to the audience, which they continuously develop within their studies at the Faculty of Contemporary Arts.
