MEMORY LINES
Upon entering the Memory Depot I encounter DISorder /entropy that has occupied everything present.
I search along the lines of archived past
through signa on drawings signifying me
# whoamnolongerthat
NOW damaged and started cardboard is rendered into paper carriers of
NOW with signs of the past
RE:MASTER
RE:MAKE
Eighteen years BACK from exposure REMINISCENCE_DEFRAGMENTATION
I recall again
I rearrange again
Trusting that constructivism harnesses entropy, I hold the exhibited works final

About the author:

Ljubomir Vučinić completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, with the subject RESISTANCE-PRINT (mentored by prof. Živko Đak) and graphic series CONDENSED (visual culture topic under prof. Kosta Bogdanović). From 2005, he has been teaching at the same institution, as a drawing professor.

Ljubimira Vučinić’s works have been shown in selective and curated exhibitions showcasing Serbia’s contemporary visual arts scene in the country and abroad. He has participated in relevant national projects, and received awards and recognition for authentic contribution to visual arts.

The author’s works are included in important collections, including collections of public importance, in Serbia and abroad.
