FCA: PARTNER AND ORGANIZER OF THE CONFERENCE “MEDIA PHILOSOPHY: MEDIA AND IDENTITIES”

From September 14 to 16, the Dean and Professor of the Faculty of Contemporary Arts, Dragan Ćalović, participated in the academic conference “Media Philosophy: Media and Identities”, in which our faculty is one of the partner organizers.
Our dean has been one of the initiators of this conference and has been involved in its organization for fifteen years, with the Faculty of Contemporary Arts joining as a partner organizer three years ago.
The conference is organized by the Aesthetic Society of Serbia. In addition to our faculty, partners include the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, the Faculty of Pedagogical Sciences in Jagodina, the Serbian Philosophical Society, and the Institute for the Study of Cultural Development. The conference also has the support of the Ministry of Science of the Republic of Serbia.
A SIGNIFICANT STEP IN CONNECTING WITH OTHER INSTITUTIONS
This year, the conference was held at the Institute for the Study of Cultural Development, with a keynote address by Professor Emeritus Milena Dragićević Šešić.
The conference was traditionally covered by Radio Belgrade 3, which broadcasted the lectures, as well as Television of Vojvodina.
This conference plays a significant role and represents another step towards the involvement of the Faculty of Contemporary Arts in academic events through networking with other institutions.
