FCA students presented an experimental dress at Belgrade Fashion Week

An exciting innovation was on display at Hangar Stage 21 during this year’s Belgrade Fashion Week, where first-year students from the Costume Design study program surprised everyone present with their experimental promotional dress. The dress was made from packaging materials, including containers and Nescafe bags, representing a unique combination of sustainability and creativity.

This exhibition marks the commitment of the youngest students, freshmen from the Costume Design study program, who under the mentorship of Professor Sonja Krstić, bravely engaged in creative experiments. Their work is both inspiring and functional, providing them with the opportunity to gain their first public exhibition experiences within the professional fashion community.

Such extracurricular activities foster creativity and educate students about the importance of sustainable design in the fashion industry. 

This event was a visual spectacle and a compelling example of how young talents can combine innovation and sustainability to create something entirely new and inspiring.
