The prestigious writer, director, and diplomat, Vida Ognjenović, will now lead the first year of studies of the master’s program in Acting, bringing with her rich experience and knowledge from the world of art. Professor emeritus Vida Ognjenović, who began her academic education at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade and continued it at the Department of Directing at the Academy of Theatre, Film, Radio and Television, perfected her knowledge in Paris at the prestigious Sorbonne, and at the University of Minnesota, where she defended her master’s thesis in theory and practice.
Her impressive career includes roles as an assistant at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, faculty positions at universities in Los Angeles and Chicago, and guest lectures at leading universities in the United States. Additionally, Vida Ognjenović has directed over a hundred theatrical performances and numerous television and radio dramas, captivating audiences with her original texts and unique approach to art.
This moment of Vida Ognjenović taking over the first year of studies of the master’s program in Acting is significant for the academic community, promising a new wave of inspiration and education for future generations of actors at the Faculty of Contemporary Arts.
