Today’s multimedia world has greatly influenced art. This is why students of Faculty of Modern Arts use modern technology and acquire the knowledge necessary for independent development and realization of projects that are firmly in step with contemporary art trends worldwide.

Already formed artists gain new knowledge in contemporary art’s history, poetics, aesthetics and multimedia art, to start working with galleries and professionals worldwide at international art colonies. They also expand the range of the media they utilize for their expression, use innovative methods and approach their works in an entirely new way, incorporating a different form of artistic expression: from painting to body art, from sculpting to performance art, from etching to street art.

Upon completing the study program, you acquire the academic title: Master of Dramatic and Audiovisual Arts – Actor, with an indication of the second degree academic studies.

Master’s studies of painting are based on interactive education, practical teaching (individual work in the studio) and theoretical teaching (elective subject and professional practice).

In addition to drawing and painting, lessons on visual poetics, multimedia art and digital drawing are introduced.

The program focuses on familiarizing the students with the possibilities of the new media and understanging multimedia production. This knowledge connects the students with opther areas of art production and offer im the possibility of working on diverse projects.

Students of Faculty of Contemporary Arts finish their master studies with a created portfolio that includes works in various media, painting, performance, etc.

How to enrol at master’s program in painting?

Graduate studies of painting are directly available to all students with an average grade of at least 8.5 from the undergraduate studies. Students with lower average grades take a differential exam.
