Silvana Grujić completed her undergraduate studies in Musicology and Piano at the Faculty of Music. She then obtained her master’s degree in Film and Media studies at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts. She earned her PhD in the interdisciplinary field of Musicology and Media studies from the University of Novi Sad in 2017.
She has been working as a lecturer at the Faculty of Contemporary Arts since March 2023.

- From 1995 to 2001 – host and author of the music magazine “A tempo”.
- From 1996 to 2000 – editor and host of the show “Svet je muzika”.
- From 2001 to 2016 – author and host of the series “Ad libitum”.
- Since December 2022 – author, screenwriter, and host of the classical music show “Volim klasiku”.
- In addition to regular series, Silvana Grujić has conceived and realized numerous individual portrait and thematic programs about authors, performers, musical events, and festivals. She has interviewed major international music stars such as Zubin Mehta, André Rieu, Plácido Domingo, and Denis Matsuev.
- She is an editor and commentator for broadcasts of major music and media events such as the Vienna Philharmonic New Year’s Concert, the Summer Night Concert from Schönbrunn, the Eurovision Song Contest, and the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
- Since 2016, Silvana Grujić has been the editor-in-chief of the Music Department of the Entertainment Program, and she is also the initiator and editor-in-chief of the thematic channel RTS Klasika, which has been broadcasting 24 hours of classical music daily since October 2020.
- Member of the jury at the “Virtuozi” competition in Budapest in 2020.
- Member of the international jury at one of the most significant international festivals of television music and artistic achievements, the Rose d’Or – Golden Rose, in October 2021 and 2022.
- Member of the jury at the International EMI Awards 2022 in Budapest.
- Member of the five-member international jury at the Golden Prague International Television Festival in Prague in 2022.
- Initiator and member of the jury for the “Prvo memorijalno takmičenje za mlade kompozitore Andrija Čikić” held in November 2023.
Activities:
- Member of the RTS team for the implementation of the TEMPUS project at the Faculty of Music during 2013–2014.
- Representative of RTS within the international group “EBU Music and Dance Experts” since 2019.
- Head of the Serbian delegation at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest from 2017 to 2021.
- Presented papers at scientific conferences and participated in panel discussions.
- Author and organizer of professional development programs approved by the Institute for the Improvement of Education (ZUOV) from 2010 to 2021.
Recipient of the Golden Badge of the Cultural and Educational Community of Serbia for “selfless, dedicated, and long-lasting work and creative contribution to the spread of culture” in 2022.
