Sonja Krstić graduated from the costume department of the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade in 1994.
From 2001 to 2008 she taught as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Contemporary Arts, and as an associate professor at the Faculty of Art and Design from 2008 to 2017.
She became an associate professor at the Faculty of Contemporary Arts in 2017.
