Teaching Methods in Art Education
Vojislav L. Ilić graduated from the Art Department at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Rijeka. He completed his postgraduate specialist studies of Teaching Methods in Art Education in Belgrade. He defended his doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Teacher Education, the University of Belgrade in the field of Didactic-methodical Sciences, and Teaching Methods.
He is employed at the Faculty of Philology and Arts, the University of Kragujevac, and the Faculty of Arts, the University of Priština, where he teaches subjects related to the Teaching Methods in Art Education within undergraduate and postgraduate study programs.
He has published dozens of articles in domestic and foreign magazines, which primarily deal with Art teaching, ICT in Art teaching and education in general, and participated in dozens of scientific meetings in the country and abroad. He published the monographs Information and Communication Technology in the teaching of Fine Arts, School and ICT – Possibilities of Application and Development Perspectives in the Teaching of Fine Arts, and Application of the Model of Developing Teaching: a step towards a modern school.
He participated in several domestic and international projects in the field of Art Pedagogy and education. He is a member of several professional associations whose primary field of interest is Art teaching, and an author and co-author of several accredited seminars for the professional development of employees in education. He was a part of various commissions for Art competitions and related activities. He was a member of the regional team for Art and the subject team for Visual Arts within the Reform of Primary and Secondary Education in the Republic of Serbia and is the coordinator of the subject club for Art education of the Serbian Society of Subject Didacticians.
He is a member of the editorial board of the journal “Obrazovna tehnologija” and is a reviewer for the journals “Journal of Subject Didactics”, “Učenje i nastava”, “Artefact” and “Nasleđe”. He is an evaluator of textbook manuscripts of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia.
He participated in more than a hundred international and domestic exhibitions and was intensively engaged in Graphic Design. He is the winner of several awards for Painting and Graphic Design.
