STUDENT FROM FCA SHINES AT MILAN FASHION WEEK

At the prestigious Milan Fashion Week, young costume designer and former student of the Faculty of Contemporary Arts in Belgrade, Sara Nikolić, had the opportunity to proudly present her graduate collection titled “Open Sea”. This talented artist, whose creative journey was shaped under the careful mentorship of Professor Sonja Krstić, stood out with her unique collection inspired by the sea, waves, and her hometown, Budva.

She dedicated her work to an innovative reinterpretation of men’s shirts, using deconstruction, reconstruction, and design enhancement to create unique dresses characterized by a romantic, modern, sophisticated, and artistic style. The “Open Sea” collection is not only aesthetically impressive but also sustainable and enriched with handmade craftsmanship, emphasizing the importance of authenticity and uniqueness in the fashion world.
With the support of her professor, Sara Nikolić achieved significant success, presenting her collection at a global fashion event. Her talent and dedicated work have been recognized and rewarded with the opportunity to show her work to the audience in Milan.
