“ZABORAVLJENI ŠEKSPIR” PERFORMED BY STUDENTS OF ACTING AT FCA

Actors from the Faculty of Contemporary Arts performed the play “Zaboravljeni Šekspir” on Friday, March 31, at the “Raša Plaović” Stage in the National Theatre.

This is an original play by their professor Hadži Nenad Maričić and represents a unique combination of acting and Renaissance melodies by the ensemble for early music “VisAntiqua“. It shows some of the most important scenes from Shakespeare’s plays “Othello”, “Henry VI”, “Richard III”, “Henry VIII”, “Hamlet”, “Antony and Cleopatra”, “Romeo and Juliet”, all in commemoration of the four-hundredth anniversary of the first publication of Shakespeare’s collected works “First Folio”.
